Dear Paul, Alec, Mary Jane, Gerry, Kim, Mike and family,

I am devasted to learn of Margaret's passing, and ashamed that I did not find out until today, from my mom, and did not attend the services.  I cannot put into words the sorrow and sadness knowing that my friend of 43 years has gone to join all of our other angels and that you do not have her to hug and kiss.  But you will meet again and she will be waiting for you, and Alec I know she is with you with every step you take.

Dear Paul & Alec
I am very sorry to hear of Margaret's passing.  We had been meaning to get together for lunch for some time now and unfortunately that didn't happen.  I shared an office space at UofC with Margaret and will always remember her for her sense of humor, her dedication to her work and her love for her family and young son.  I hope you find comfort in the memories you have and pray that in time that your sadness finds comfort in remembering the times you spent together.

Margaret was a dear friend to me throughout high school and I have barely a memory of those crazy times that do not include having Margaret by my side. It makes me to sad to think that she is no longer here with us.  I will always remember Margaret and the laughs we shared.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I was very shocked and saddened to read of Margaret's passing.  My deepest condolences to Margaret's family.  I knew Margaret when she worked at the University of Calgary in the VP Suite for Dr. Ron Bond.  Margaret made me feel welcome when I first started there.  She was definitely a 'go to' person when you needed help and was very knowledgeable about the University.  Margaret had a great sense of humour and I could always count on her to cheer me up when needed!  Such a loss for someone so young.  You will be missed.

My deep condolences to all of Margaret's family.  I came to know her over many years when we were both working at the UofC, and I fondly recall her dedication, skill, and quiet wisdom ... all with a twinkle in her eye.  Those close to her must especially be feeling the loss of such a dear one.

Dear Paul, Alex and Margaret's family!  I am both shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Margaret's passing!  I had the privilege and good fortune to work with Margaret for the last 7 years of my working career in the Vice-President (Academic) Office.  I always found Margaret to be an extremely dedicated employee and a good friend to all of us in the office.  She had a wonderful personality - warm, sincere, joyful and optomistic.  We had many good talks over the period of time that we worked together and I came to know Margaret very well.  She valued family so much and she was very proud of you all.  She worked hard and she played hard and she always gave 100% to whatever she was doing.  As I am in Kelowna right now I will not be able to attend the memorial service but please know that my sympathies are with you!  I hope in time you will be able to remember Margaret for the love of life that she pursued and the fine qualities that she had which made her such a wonderful person! I was shocked to ready of Margaret's passing in the Calgary Herald. We worked together for some time and became friends over the years when I was at the U of C. Margaret was a delightful, funny, kind woman who was dedicated to her work and to the U of C. I remember her fondly and wish we had kept in touch over the years since my retirement. My deepest condolences to her husband Paul and her son Alec and to her parents and extended family.
