Maria Felicidad Gumabao Magat

Maria Felicidad Gumabao Magat passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She worked at the Holy Cross as a Personal Care Aide. Maria was funny and witty and a very caring mother and person. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. Maria is lovingly remembered by her husband Michael; son Liam; parents Dante and Digna Gumabao; sisters Trinidad (James) Yuen their son Tyler of Calgary, Theresa (Bong) Abaya their sons Andy, Alchie, and Dan of Philippines and Christine (Jay) Boice their children Stephanie, Marissa and Nathan of Hong Kong; and brother Rommel Gumabao of Philippines, as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Filomina and Corazon. Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
