Marie Louise Steele

October 10, 1930 - June 30, 2013

Marie Steele passed away unexpectedly at home in Calgary, AB on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 82 years.

Marie was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and came to Calgary at an early age. She is survived by daughter Karen (Harvey) Neumiller and son Mike (Vicki); grandchildren Jenny (Peder), Heather (Geoff), Sara, Melissa and Matthew; four great grandchildren as well as by many dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband John “Jack” and son Rick. The Steele/Neumiller family extend a special thanks to all friends and neighbours for their thoughts and prayers.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 640 – 19 Avenue N.W., Calgary on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6.
