Marina Abaoag "Nanay Marina" Anada, a loving wife, a devoted mother, a caring grandmother and a heart of our home, passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born on June 17, 1938, Nanay Marina was the cornerstone of our family. A source of endless love and strength, known for her warmth and unwavering generosity. She lived a full and satisfying life, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Now that Nanay Marina has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Nanay Marina’s physical life on Earth, it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her with our Lord Jesus Christ.
A Prayer Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
