Marion Louise Elliott

November 22, 1945July 25, 2019

Marion’s family and friends have lost the kindest, most generous, compassionate person they will ever meet in this lifetime. Her sole mission in life was to do as much as she could, for as many as she could, for as long as she could, and she accomplished that in spades.

On the other hand, Heaven has gained an Angel Extraordinaire, who is likely busy greeting all her relatives and friends who were there to welcome her when she arrived. It is also likely that she has joined, and is already singing along with, the Heavenly Choir, for she dearly loved music and singing.

Honouring Marion’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has been entrusted to South Calgary Funeral Centre and Crematorium and her cremated remains, at her request, will be scattered in a place of her choosing, along with those of her beloved cats.

Marion also requested that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to might make a donation in her memory to an animal rescue organization of their choice.

I am so sorry to hear about Marion's passing today. As children, (first cousins) us girls used to jump up and down on her bed yelling and screaming with glee. I hope the family stays strong. Please contact me Bonnie Anderson 250-763-1875 in Kelowna BC.

Marion was always gracious, always caring and always sincere.
She loved her job as she loved the people with whom she shared each working day.
Her delightful spirit was inspiring and brought an extra blessing to those entrusted to her care.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and many grieving friends, especially Louise and Sally. I want them to know that along with Marion they have a very special place in my memories and in my heart.

To Marion’s family and friends I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Marion during our time together at Carewest Sarcee. She was an angel! She always had a smile on her face, a kind word and an eagerness to help anyone who needed it. I will always remember Marion, her friendship and the wonderful times we had 💞.

Dear family of Marion, I only just found out that she has passed away. Marion was a truly lovely lady, and I so enjoyed our time together singing in the High Country Chorale. No doubt she is singing her heart out in heaven! Peace be with you, my friend, and always Say It With A Song.

The words in Marion’s memory could not have been better said. I had the ultimate pleasure of working with Marion for the last many years before she retired from Carewest and I will never forget her wonderful kind nature. Instead of wishing anything for herself, she wished the best for everyone else.

Marion was always a gentle support to a vast circle of family & friends. Her dedication to make someone's day just a bit brighter was an inspiration. I will always remember her laugh! Marion was one of my shepherds & I will cherish that always, x0x
Susan, I hold you & the family in my heart.
Sympathies to all that were a part of the "circle".
