Mom met our father while he was travelling across Canada and they were married in May 1954.
Left to cherish her memory are; Susan Thivierge (Calgary), Sharon Moar (Whitehorse), Doug (Cathy) Moar, Don Moar and Bill Moar (Dianne LeBlanc) all of Calgary. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren; Kelsey (Glen), Erik (Kaylee), Kerry of Calgary and Megan of Whitehorse. Four step-grandchildren, who have fond memories of Marion, Jason (Pam), Great-Grand Children Emiko & Kai Thivierge of Montreal; Chelsea (Douglas), Great-Grand Children Dylan and Owen McMahon of Airdrie; Jaime (Matt) Burke and Bradley LeBlanc of Calgary and many nieces and nephews across Canada. Also left to remember her is a dear friend Vivian Crandall, who tirelessly supported Marion, from hairdressing to being a confidant, for many years.
Mom cherished her family, she loved to have everyone meet each Saturday for lunch to keep up with all the news of family and friends, Mom had a great smile and no matter when you asked how she was, she always replied “not too bad”.
Marion was pre-deceased by her husband, Al in 2008, her father George, mother Kate, three brothers Ed, Bert and Bob, her sister Betty and her son-in law Joe.
A small get together with family and friends for Mom, will be at the family home on Saturday April 27, 2019 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
