
Mary Jean Hodge Julien passed away peacefully on December 4, 2012 in Calgary at the age of 86 years. She was born May 4, 1926 in Grandview, Texas and lived in Texas until 1981 when she moved to Canada. Mary Jean called both Texas and Canada home. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Rae Klassen, four grandchildren, Troy Croson of Texas, Dana Croson (Mona) of Texas, Kerry Martens (Wes) of Calgary and Jess Markin (Patti) of Calgary. She also leaves behind five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, dear friends Martha and Ralph Eremko of Calgary and Bernice Dean of Texas.
The family extends a sincere thanks to the staff and medical team at Eau Claire Lodge and the staff in Unit 81 at Foothills Hospital for their care and diligence in looking after Mary Jean.
A Funeral Service will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation offered prior to service. Flowers are respectfully declined, however, if friends so desire, a donation can be made directly to a charity of your choice. Mary Jean’s final resting place will be in Grandview Cemetery in Texas.
