Mary was born in Dapp, Alberta in 1930 and was raised with 4 brothers and 4 sisters in Jarvie, AB. She met the love of her life, Clayton Spencer, whom she married in 1955. Together they raised 6 children in Grande Prairie, later moving to Calgary, AB where they settled down. Mary loved to garden, growing all of her own vegetables and tending to her beautiful flowerbeds. She hosted large family dinners for her expanding family, welcoming everyone to her table. You could always find her doting on others, especially her grandchildren and animals.
Mary is survived by her husband Clayton; sons Michael (Kelly), Joe (Michelle), Randy (Sue), Dan (Melody), Jeff (Lorraine); and daughter Debbie; along with 7 grandchildren and 5 ½ great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
