Maurine Wood

Maurine is survived by her daughter, Roxie (Colin); son, Denton (Marilyn); grandchildren, Theresa (Rob) and Stephanie (Peter) as well as great grandchildren, Scarlet, Josie, Drew, Kajsa. She is also survived by her sisters, Theodora Stevenson and Alma Mendenhall; her brother, John (Sherrill) Redd and many nieces and nephews. Maurine is predeceased by her husband, David Wood and sisters, Norma Fairbanks and Hazel Gibb.

A Celebration of Maurine’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Her sunshine continues to light our hearts until we are with her again. I lieu of flowers and in honour of Maurine’s loving spirit, do something kind for someone today.
