He is lovingly remembered by his wife Amalie, and his two children Claudia Lorenz (Brad Gibson) and Derek Lorenz (Suzanne Melnyk).
He will be sadly missed by his five grandchildren: Ben Gibson, Raine Gibson, Gabrielle Lorenz, Hallie Kent and Janay Kent.
A private farewell gathering will be held at a future date.
