Norm is lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy; sons, Dean, Darren (Lori), and Duane (Jin); daughter, Tanya (Alex); brother, Eldon (Audrey), and grandchildren, Liza, Isaac, Cohen, Willem, and Anna. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Cairncross, Jenna, Col. Ratcliffe and the staff at Southwood Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Gathering at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a Graveside Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to The Southwood Hospice, 211 Heritage Drive S.E., Calgary, AB T2H 1M9 or The Calgary Glenmore Temple (Salvation Army), 921 68 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2V 0N7. God saw you getting tired,

The cure was not to be.

He wrapped you in his loving arms,

And whispered, ‘’ Come with Me.’’

You suffered much in silence,

Your spirit did not bend,

You faced your pain with courage,

Until the very end.

You tried so hard to stay with us,

Your fight was all in vain,

God took you to his loving home,

And freed you from your pain.

You didn’t deserve what you went through,

And so He gave you rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.
