Olga Gall passed away peacefully in Calgary at the South Health Campus on December 3, 2014, at the age of 97 years. Olga is sadly missed by her children, Peter (Sheila) Gall, Margaret Anne McKinnon; grandchildren Caitlin (David) Woodward, Michael (Julia) Gall, Zoe Gall, Laura (Ted) Hoyda; great grandchildren Cecily Woodward, Samantha Woodward and Charles Hoyda. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Gall.
Olga was born in Radisson, Saskatchewan and grew up in North Battleford and Saskatoon. She graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1942 as one of only five women in her class. Olga loved sports and spent much of her free time on the golf course. She also curled and was thrilled when her team won the Manitoba Sugar Bowl in Winnipeg. Olga loved her family very much and was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a great friend to all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 12:00 p.m.
