He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 30 years, Klementine Nickel.
Otto was a man whose love for reading, history, and storytelling knew no bounds. His passion for his dogs and his adventures while traveling left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Otto's remarkable ability to weave tales and share the wisdom he gathered from his vast array of experiences will be deeply missed. His legacy of love, laughter, and stories will be forever cherished and remembered by his friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
