

Paul Di Palma passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family, in Calgary, AB on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Arce, Frosinone, Italy on October 18, 1933. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Amato and Anna; and his siblings, Domenico, Chiara, Arcangelo, and Giuseppe. In search of opportunity, Paul immigrated to Canada in 1952, accompanied by his brother, Peter. His first job was with the City of Calgary. He then moved on to a career in hairstyling, which he enjoyed until his retirement. Paul began at the American House of Beauty and later decided to use his artistic and entrepreneurial skills to start his own business. He was affectionately referred to by his nephews and nieces as “Mr. Paul of Rome”. He leaves behind a large family to cherish his memory and will be missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 640 19 Avenue N.W., Calgary on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
