Growing up in wainwright for the first five years of my life, there was never a time when I did not know Pat Jordan. I remember her as selfless, open-hearted giving, kind, and ever so funny.  She always seemed to balance  the harsher realities of life with a robust sense of humour. I know her constancy on this earth will be missed but I also know she will be guiding all of us who loved her with her wonderfully generous spirit.

I loved her so much. She is so brilliant. There's no way to describe her that can be understood, about this true angel. I wish everyone in the universe knew her.  I have extra special admiration for this entire family. I've never understood how a true bonding family works. Not only within the blood line, but arms open wide to everyone. I kinda feel as a friend accepted, and purely honored to have had the privilege to know her, and her wide spread love. She treated me with humor,respect,love,kindness, tenderness, experiences, knowledge, acceptance, for just being myself. She also backed me up.even if my thoughts were weird. God is collecting all his most treasured angels. Horrible as it is, she is one angel that can make a difference in our world. I'm proud of her life!! She made and still is working hard to find the answer. Not gone, just loving us all in a  spiritual way. Pat Im going to play my ukulele at your ceremony. You're laughing. Please you spitfire, get going on up there, I know you'll be in charge soon.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Pat Jordan. I met her once while staying with Brandy & Simon for a visit, and she welcomed me into her home like I was one of her own. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.

Pat was a remarkable and very hard working person. She will be missed by many whose lives she touched. I met Pat, Mike (her husband) and Lindsay (their daughter) through work. Pat did not hesitate to help others whenever they were in need. Working with her was full of fun and of good cheer. Rest in peace, Pat.

I was so saddened to hear about Pat, condolences to all the family.
We were close friends when our children were young. She was so sweet and loved by all of my girls. She was like a second mother (She even cut their toenails when their mother forgot). 
Heaven has a new angel. RIP Pat.

Pat was one of the most kindhearted selfless individuals I’ve ever known always willing to help, always ready to share knowledge, always willing to open her door or to prepare a meal to anyone who walked in and always had a smile on her face. Her laughter was infectious, and when I was in her company, or in her home, laughter filled the room. Her ability to care for others was exceptional always putting them first. Just some of the photos we have of Pat who was one of those special people you are only lucky enough to meet once in a lifetime.  She was game for anything  and always made you feel like you were part of the family.  We were lucky enough to be called upon for many a photo op and occasional "date" stand in. Her door was always open and she had a bed waiting if you needed one.  She will be missed but her memory will live on in the wonderful family she and Mike created.

I’m filled with sadness at this worlds loss of my charming friend of over 40+ years. Memories abound of our times together- NYC Pat came just before our flight being called her suitcase wouldn’t close and she’d stopped at Walmart and bought 2 dozen men’s white socks as they were on sale, every dinner out she asked for a  doggie bag and then we proceeded to give them to the homeless (such kindness and life threatening-did the homeless guy have a knife?) Montreal I’d had both wrists operated on just the week prior who just showered with me and washed my hair but my Pat. Dominican -let’s just go to the market it’s just over there on the beach …we got back after dark..tired after walking miles in the sand to it..always up for an adventure. I could go on and on. At her home  we prepared Christmas dinner together making numerous trips to Safeway - we bought chestnuts but didn’t know how to prepare them, yams we remembered our friend (not there)liked them -candied rum yams (too much rum)and drank my famous eggnog (too much brandy) - falling asleep at the table - but laughing til our sides hurt. No one will replace my terrific friend. She was like no other.  My “go to second home” where life was laughed at, problems disappeared and love abounded!!! 🥰 to all who are suffering.

My condolences to Mike and her children ; Matthew , David , Lindsay ,Simon and their partners , their families !Her brother and his family  in Australia ! Pat was a close friend of mine for years  ! She was so kind , I will miss her calls and the time we had together ! She always invited me  to her family  events and more ! Sharing her home with me when I went to Calgary ! We took in Spruce Meadows  Christmas  show, shopping  at Hudson Bay and other shops! Just to mention a few!  Enjoyed hearing her adventures from England to Wainwright to Calgary! Mike and Pat were always there to help everyone ! I will keep her life story in my heart to cherish! Will miss her dearly ! RIP Pat !

My condolences to the family! I met Pat when I was stationed in Wainwright she was very kind and such a warm person to get to know! I got to know her and the family, this is such heart breaking news! Prayers 🙏💕

While I have quite a few memories of Pat, there is one that has to be my most favorite and still makes us laugh to this day. 
Lindsay and I had spent a night out in our high school days and came home in the wee hours of the morning. Our driver had fallen ill and happened to leave her vehicle in the middle of the road, outside the house with all doors open. Unfortunately, Lindsay and I did not know how to drive manual so Lindsay had the task of going inside to ask for help. 
Out comes Pat in her finest housecoat, high heeled shoes and a stack of napkins, lol. No questions asked, she was ready to help out in style. Lindsay's brother was also recruited to assist but Ill leave the rest of that story for another day.
I remember it like it was yesterday and it's a memory that I'm sure we will still be laughing about 20yrs from now. 
Pat always made me feel welcome and a part of the family from day one. I'm lucky to have known her and the rest of the Jordan family.

My condolences to all the Jordan family. Pat was such a special person. She and Mike took me under their wings when I  arrived in Wainwright and  I  have so many special memories of Pat and all the family. Some so very funny.  And others when Pat showed what a kind and caring person she was.

I met Pat through Lindsay and have many fond and meaningful memories for which I am grateful. From the times she would pick us up in the middle of the night, to driving me to Calgary for my first interview, to providing me advice on purchasing my first new car and home, and welcoming me to family gatherings when I wasn't going home.  Pat touched so many lives with her humor, generosity, and kindness, which will always be remembered. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time; she will be deeply missed.

Condolences to the entire Jordan family.  I have many memories of Pat, from working with horses, to hanging out at the TV shop, to shopping at Value Village in Calgary looking for kids clothes with tags on and our many road trips to Canmore.  Pat was truly an amazing lady with a heart of gold.  She had an amazing way of making everyone feel special, and her kindness, generosity and warmth touched so many lives.  She was a second mother to many, offering guidance, love and support without hesitation. She embodied the essence of unconditional friendship, standing by those she cared about through every joy and challenge. Her presence was a gift, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.  May her family find comfort in the wonderful memories of Pat, and in the knowledge that her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Pat was a wonderful  woman and loved her family fiercely.  I didn't  know her well but everytime she picked up Liv she always made sure to ask me how I was doing. The first time I saw pat after I had my baby she gave me the biggest hug. She held me tight and told me that if I ever needed help or time alone to call her amd she would come. I never got to tell her how much that gesture meant to me. She was a absolute ray of sunshine. I hope that you all can find peace and comfort  during this time. Sending you all the love 💚

For Liv's birthday parties, Lindsay always gets special cookies made and they're THE BEST sugar cookies ever!! Pat took one of the broken cookies from the basket and said "look this one is no good", opened it up and asked if I'd like to share it with her and of course I said yes!! A few minutes later, she grabbed another cookie from the bundle, broke it in half and said "oh no, this one's broken too, want some?" We laughed and shared that cookie too. A favorite memory of mine. I've never felt more welcomed by a family that wasn't my own, as I have with the Jordan/Watkins family.
