

October 9, 1936 – September 29, 2011
Paul Sipos, Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather passed away on Thursday,September 29th, 2011, at the age of 74 years, surrounded by family and friends. Paul had been given a second chance at life having received a heart transplant in 1993. He leaves behind his loving wife Petra; beloved sons Paul and Michael; cherished granddaughters Samantha and Alexis; and special grandson Scott. Also mourning his passing are his mother-in-law Elfriede Scheller; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marion and David Chappell; relatives Kurt and Annabelle Scheller, Isabel and Elton Didriksen; long time family friend Gloria Boulet; as well as numerous friends. Paul came to Canada from Hungary in 1956 and enjoyed a long and varied career in the construction business. Fishing was a favorite hobby as was fixing “things”, especially for his grandchildren. Family meant everything to Paul and always came first. He was predeceased by his parents and sister in Hungary. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Our very special thanks to his Cardiac Transplant team; Dr. Isaac; Dr. Warnica and the wonderful nurses who took such excellent care of him all these years.
