Peter Maurice Fitzmaurice Minvielle

Left to mourn are his wife of 35 years, Cheryl Minvielle; his five children: Digna Brice (Jason Louis), Charlene, Pierre, Philippe and Camille Minvielle and grandchildren, Brandon and Allyson Louis. He was predeceased by his siblings, Gonard LaBorde and Veronica Adley of (St. Lucia). Also left to mourn are niece, Sylvia (Minrod Cadasse) as well as his nephews, Delbert, Carlos, Jonathan, and Eric Jr. Adley; brother-in-law of Lyra Laborde, Zylma Clarke, Ann Perelion, Rollis, Mervyn, Newton and Jeffrey Foster. With special thanks to Elizabeth Clarke and Julietta Raoul, as well as family and friends in St. Lucia and Canada. Maurice was a chartered accountant who worked internationally with various oil and gas firms, finishing his career as CFO of BG Group. He was an MBA graduate of the University of Western Ontario, class of 1974.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1566 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, www.albertacancer.ca/memorial.
