Pete was very artistic and an excellent tiler, a perfectionist with any job he did. He loved to talk and share stories of his interesting past, loved leather jackets (9 of them) and was an avid sports fan. Though Pete lived his later life in both agony and pain, his moral compass stayed the same. His infectious laugh would fill a room and no matter how hard things were, he always had a happy anecdote for any situation and was quick to find the bright side of life. Pete was very loyal and protective of his family.
To have such an amazing attitude through thick and thin shows a graciousness that most would aspire to.
Pete will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his father, Ron, and partner Sue Stanford. All of his siblings: Michele Radics, Andrew, Gerald, Joanne (Steve) Cranwell, Matthew & Keith. As well as nieces and nephews; Kendra, Lukas & Mikayla Bencun, Logan Winkelaar & Jordan Siegel, Liam & Jules Cranwell. Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins share in our sorrow as well.
Peter was predeceased by his mother Florence and sister-in-law Gerlyn Winkelaar.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be in the summer of 2020. Memorial donations in Peter’s name will be gratefully accepted by Alpha House Society, 203 15 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 1G4.
