He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Katherine, siblings David, Linda, Frankie, Johnny as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Rosalie Bernard.
Philip was born in Calgary, Alberta and spent his early childhood growing up in Venezuela and Trinidad. Upon graduating high school from Florida Central Academy, he completed his BSc in Physics from the University of Calgary. He worked in the oil and gas industry for several years where he travelled the world.
When his daughter came into the picture, he shifted his focus from work to family, devoting much of his time to raising her and supporting her in every endeavor.
Philip will be remembered for his kindness, passion for photography and love for his family.
A reception will be held for family and close friends.
