Phyllis May Harrison was born in Alberton, P.E.I. on September 23, 1920, to Maud and Emerson Matthews and died on January 8, 2011 in Acme, AB, with her much loved husband of sixty-eight years at her side. Phyllis is survived by her husband George Harrison; four children Donna, George (Bernadette), Colleen (Lambert) and Dan (Lorraine); 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Colleen and Roma, and one brother Heath. A Memorial Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
