

Priscilla Suk Fun Wong passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 61 years. She was born on April 22, 1955. Priscilla, also known as Fun, moved to Canada from Hong Kong in 1987 to marry Pui Chor Wong, and together they raised two daughters, Charlene and Karen Wong.
She will always be remembered for her unconditional love, her beautiful smile and boughs of laughter. Fun was passionate about positive early childhood development and actively mothered all children that came into her care through work or volunteering. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and tirelessly fought a long battle to love and cherish everyone around her for as long as possible.
A Visitation will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, AB (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. If friends and family so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Wellspring Calgary, 1404 Home Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3B 1G7; Tom Baker Cancer Foundation, 1331 29 St NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N2; or the Calgary Chinese Community Service Association (CCCSA), 128 2 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0B9.
