Ray Griffiths passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Born in June, 1940 to Margaret and Albert (Bill) Griffiths, Ray spent most of his formative years in Kenora, Ontario. He married the love of his life, Jean in May, 1964, and together they would raise a family and build their lives. He was a proud Mason and past master of the Keewatin Lodge. Ray loved hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by family near and far, as well as all who came to know him. He is survived by his sisters; Mildred Plessis (Edmond), Wilma Weins (Joe), Jean Jones (Dale) and Joan Borberly (Gabor); his son Terrance; and a great many extended family.
Ray was predeceased by his wife, Jean in October, 2016; they will be reunited during a private family internment.
A Memorial Service will be held at Rutland Park Community Association, 3130 40 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
