Dear Anna,

Rick was a wonderful friend and colleague.  I worked with Rick in Calgary for six years - he was always a hardworking and humble person.  We shared many common interests and regularly discussed politics, sports and travel.    My sympathies go out to you and your family.

We are shocked and sad to hear of Rick's passing.  He was in recently and was delighted with the idea that he was going to surprise Anna this Christmas with a special gift and he even talked with us about earrings for an upcoming anniversary.
