Robert Paul Jensen

Robert Paul Jensen passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 49 years. Rob is survived by his daughter Jessie Jensen; wife Susan Jensen; his siblings, Mary-Ann, Caroline, Deb, Liz and Jim; and his father David Jensen. He was predeceased by his mother Betty.

Rob was a good friend to many and was always there to lend a hand. He will be missed by his family and the many friends he made during his working life as a welder, while on his adventures across Canada and the States, and through the sport activities he loved.

A Celebration of Rob’s Life will be held at Peanuts Public House, (9030 Macleod Trail South), on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to share all the stories and great memories. There will be a cash bar. A Memory Jar will also be present for those who would like to share their memories with his daughter and family.

Rob was cremated and will be buried in the family plot during a private service.

If friends so desire, memorial donations in Rob’s memory may be made directly to the Calgary Food Bank, (5000 11 St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2Y5).
