Robert “Bob” Murphy Tobler passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on September 1, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Bob is sadly missed by his daughters Sharon Anne Tobler and Valerie Marie Tobler (Don Dixon). He is also survived by his sister Shirley Giesbrecht and many other family members. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 34 years Marie and eight siblings. Bob was born in Duchess, AB. The family moved to Calgary in 1941. Bob served in cadets and then the Army as a Pay Sergeant. In 1956 he joined the City of Calgary and went into the Sewers Division, where he retired as an Inspector in 1989. He spent his last years visiting family and friends; maintaining two properties; enjoying the birds; occasional trips to the casino; and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was always busy.
