It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Predeceased by his mother Helen Mae Beilhartz (Nott). Survived by his father Lorne Beilhartz and his four adoring children Tanya (Stephen), Christina (Adam), Natallia (Shawn) and Scott. He is pre-deceased by his son Darrell. Proud grandfather to Tyrian. Rodney is also survived by his three siblings Cheryle, Dennis (Lynne) and Karen (Karl) and is an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Rodney had a generous, gentle and kind heart. Recently he had reminded friends and family to participate in life with gratitude. Rod was a master craftsman and gifted wood worker taking great pride in everything he created. He was an avid hockey player, competitive water skier, hunter, fisher and all round sportsman. Rod found great joy in spending time with his family at the cottage sharing stories around the campfire. Rodney was a wonderful storyteller and we know that the stories he shared will be cherished and re-told with laughter and hearts full of love. Rod was a cowboy at heart and spent several years living in Calgary.
Rodney will be greatly missed and cherished in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Brentwood Recovery Home, 2335 Dougall Avenue, Windsor, ON Canada N8X 1S9 or online at www.brentwoodrecovery.com
