February 3rd, 1951 – May 6th, 2025
Ron Weyman passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on May 6th, 2025, at the age of 74 at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary. He was born in Calgary on February 3rd, 1951to Donald and Theresa Weyman, being the third of five boys. In 1966 the family moved to the Chestermere area where Ron resided until his passing.
In 1969 Ron met his beloved wife Karen and they married in 1972. Ron worked most of his life in the heavy equipment industry in various positions with sales being what he enjoyed most. Family was very important to him and he was a supportive husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Ron is survived by his wife Karen, sons Randy (Shelley) and Steven, two grandsons Easton and Justin, two brothers Dennis (Laverne) and David along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Donald and Theresa and his two brothers Kenny and Daryl.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Pho, all the doctors, nurses and care staff in Unit 58 at the South Health Campus Hospital for all the care they provided to Ron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Canadian Liver Foundation or Parkinson's Canada.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held Saturday June 21, 2025 in the Whitecappers room at the South end of the Chestermere Regional Community Complex from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
