It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Rose Clare Marchuk. She is survived by her children Ron (Norma), Dave, Rob (Monica) and Melanie (Mike); sister-in-law Irene; grandchildren Rebecca, Ben (Melanie), Jon (Laurie), Jay (Tricia), Aubrey and Kaya; great grandchildren Cody, William, Sam, Oliver and Nathan, as well as her brothers and sisters in Edmonton. Rose was married to our Dad Bill for sixty years. He went to Heaven last October and she decided to join him after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, June 21, 2012. For many years she worked at the fragrance counter at The Bay downtown and market mall. Rose was our Glamour Girl. We miss her more than words can express but know in our hearts that she is at peace. A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
