Rose Stewart passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband Ed; parents Anton and Dora Piecowye; as well as four brothers William (Tillie), Steve, John and Peter. Rose is survived by brother Morris (Carol) Piecowye of Leduc, AB; sisters-in-law Stella and Rose of Saskatoon, SK and Nettie of Prince Albert, SK; numerous nieces, nephews and great friends; as well as her four legged companion Dixie. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Rose will be laid to rest with her husband Ed in Leduc at a later date.
