April 15, 1941 – April 21, 2020
Rudolf (Rudi) Krulis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
Rudi will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Kamil, daughter Sally (Jay), grandson Cody and many many friends.
Rudi came to Canada from Czechoslovakia in search of the Canadian dream and a life full of adventure. He was a loving guy that always had time for everyone. Rudi was a selfless and loving human being. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson who was his pride and joy. He loved taking him for ice cream, playing with remote control boats in the lake every summer and going for drives and just spending time together. Many people in the inner city interacted with him when he drove a taxi and he always had good advice for everybody. Rudi will be remembered as a super guy that loves his family. He was an avid Habs fan. May he rest in peace.
A private service will be held for the family and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
A private service for the family will be held.

I want to share my deepest condolences to Rudi’s family. I was one of his customers. Over the years he quickly became like family to my daughter and I. He always had a birthday card and treat for Scarlett. He always loved seeing photos of her. Rudi helped me through an incredibly difficult time as I transitioned into a fully single parent. And I honestly don’t know if I would have been able to start my new job without his help. He was such a special person that we loved deeply.
He LOVED telling us stories of his children, his grandson, his time at the lake and skiing (even though he didn’t think he wanted to keep doing that lol). His family meant everything to him.
He also had the most helpful relationship advice :)
Rudi was a once in a life time living angel. Please know how deeply he loved you all. And how deeply he was loved by others.
