Sandy passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB at the age of 67 years. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Don; daughters Stephanie (Tom), Kim and Danielle (Andy); brother Paul (Donna) Mills; good friend, travel companion and sister-in-law, Bev Irving; nephew Gary (Alicia) Mills; nieces Victoria Mills and Jennifer Irving; great-nephews Xander Mills, Oliver Mills and Liam Irving; as well as relatives and friends especially Brenda and Clare. Sandy was predeceased by her parents Philip and Lilian Mills. Sandy worked in Tanzania, England and Saudi Arabia before marrying Don and moving to Canada in 1980. A Celebration of her life will be held at Holy Cross Anglican Church, 2828 - 19 St NW, Calgary, AB on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation at www.albertacancer.ca.
