Sarah was a beautiful girl, she was kind and thoughtful, always thinking of others before herself. She’d find out what made you happy and go out of her way to get it for you or do something wonderful! If you were having a bad day she’d do her best to cheer you up and make you feel better. She loved her family and was especially close to her sister Lisa and her son Michael who she adored. Sarah was particularly close to me, her mother, she was my best friend. She always strived to be like her father, telling us she was her father’s daughter and always wanted to impress him.
Sarah loved watching old movies. She loved curling up with snacks and we’d watch several at a time. She loved Gone with the Wind especially, and loved Clarke Gable. Another of her favorites was Legally Blonde, we watched it many times! She’d laugh as she demonstrated the bend and snap from the movie. She loved Red Dwarf a British show, she related to the cat and in Sarah style she’d act out the character. She had such a great personality, she was so funny. Sarah loved Christmas, it was her favourite time of the year. Every Christmas we’d watch Christmas movies, Sarah’s absolute favourite was One Magic Christmas, this was always saved for Christmas Eve just before bed. She looked forward to it so much. She loved the magic and love at Christmas time!
Sarah was very knowledgeable about many things. She was very bright and intelligent. You’d never tire of talking with her. She researched a lot and would give you facts and figures at the drop of a hat.
Sarah loved the 1950’s styles and the way the girls dressed. She loved the 50’s style of cars. She used to tell me she wished she’d lived in those times and since Sarah was such a girly girl, she would have fitted right in.
Sarah loved animals. We had a Golden Retriever named Benji, and she loved him dearly, she nicknamed him Baby Bop or the bop for short. She spoke of him often. We have three little dogs now and Sarah’s dog is called Butters. She loved him so much. He’s a little bit scrappy and Sarah always said he was just like her.
We love you Sarah forever! Moomey or Moo which is what Sarah called me, Daddy, Lisa your sister, your son Michael and your friend April and all those who adore you!
Till we meet again beautiful Sarah! Fly high with the angels our sweet love!
We love you with all our hearts and we’ll never let go!
