sorry to hear of my dear Auntie Shirley's passing. she was a favourite, the youngest of the Harry and Harriet Nelson family. she was universally and unreservedly loved. condolences to all her daughters and their families. I hope her memorial will be an occasion for a family gathering sometime later this year when we can share our memories of many good times. Love to Jean, Sheila and Elaine.

My heart is full of love for sweet Aunt Shirley. Her laugh, smiles and gentle nature are memories that stay with me. She was a wonderful mother to her girls, all different with their own personalities and strengths. She left behind her a line of strong women!
Lots of love to my cousins and their families who will miss Shirley very much. The bond of family unites us all.
With blessings and much love,
Karen

To the Block family - my sincere sympathies. I worked with Shirley at the City of Calgary for several years. As a very young adjuster, I was so fortunate to have her help me along the way. Her work ethics were far beyond anyone I have ever worked with. she was such a hard worker, but also a beautiful sole. through the years we often think of her very fondly. our thoughts now turn to her family as we pray for peace in these difficult times
