Theresa Brent

She will be lovingly remembered by her five children: Rodney Brent, Tom Brent (Carol Seymour), Cathy Bauer (Peter), Russell Brent, Joni Clarke (Peter); five grandchildren: Russell Bauer (Becky), Kevin Brent (Kate Jeffrey), Dan Bauer, Anthony Brent, Elizabeth Clarke, as well as one great grandson, Baron Bauer. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Aksenchuk. She grew up in Beiseker, AB and later moved to Calgary where she graduated as a Registered Nurse (Class of ‘48) from the Holy Cross Hospital. She raised her family with patience and love and negotiated the bumps of life with passion, strength and humor. Theresa had outstanding fashion sense, interest in sewing, collecting and reading. Her greatest pleasures included socializing and dancing with her multitude of friends at the Royal Canadian Legion and the Kerby Centre. Theresa's love and wisdom will shine through all the lives that she touched.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
