Thomas Lloyd Free

T. Lloyd Free passed away peacefully on October 30, 2010 in Calgary. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lila and his children Doug (Sheila), Shane (Rhonda), Duane and Kim, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Lloyd was born in Hamilton Ontario on August 25 1931 and moved west while a young man. Lloyd met Lila and they started their life together in Red Deer, moving to Calgary in 1968 to create a fabulous life for their family.

Lloyd lived his life for his family and was always quietly working in the background helping Lila play host to multitudes of guests in their home. He loved his family, his friends and his Church. His family is grateful to Bob Howell for bringing Christ into Dad's life all those years ago. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Oakpark Church of Christ, 11263 Oakfield Dr. SW, Calgary.
