

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tyler James Pankrat, a cherished son, uncle, and friend. Tyler passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 41 years. Tyler was born on January 18, 1983, in Calgary, Alberta to Wilson & Kim Pankrat. After high school, he completed the Graphic Arts program at SAIT and was currently working as a Graphic Artist for Commerx Corporation. Tyler loved his little rescue dog, Marley, all computer technology, and was an avid hockey fan. He was also a frequent volunteer at the Center Street Church and sometimes at the Mustard Seed.
Tyler is survived by his father Wilson and stepmother Rachel Lapointe; his stepbrothers Dan Demchuk, Jordan Demchuk and niece, Sophia; Ric and Deb Pankrat, Kathy and John Tidlund, Sarah and Jim Randell, Todd and Andrea LeSergent, Wendy Laird and Robin LeSergent and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Kim Pankrat, infant brother Mathew David Pankrat, maternal and fraternal grandparents and uncle Michael Pankrat.

Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
