Violet (Vi) Freda Rosentreter nee Appel

April 5, 1932 – October 26, 2023

The family of Vi would like to announce her passing October 26, 2023 at 91 years of age.

Vi was born in Windhorst, Saskatchewan on April 5, 1932, the 5th of 13 children of the late Rudolph and Evelyn Appel. She was predeceased by 8 siblings. Vi moved to Rutland, BC with her family in 1939 and there met Len Rosentreter, they were married June 7, 1949, they had 69 years together and now are together again. Vi will be sadly missed by her family of four sons and spouses, together with twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren:

Vi’s “Celebration of Life” will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the

Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, Vernon, B.C.

Internment (Family Only) – 10:00am
