Bill passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice after a brief fight with Cancer. Bill graduated from SAIT Polytechnic, winning the nation-wide silver medal in Chemical Technology. After working for 35 years for Chemical and Geological Laboratories (and successor companies) Bill retired and developed an interest in woodworking and guitar making. Bill was an avid sports fan enjoying all sports but had a particular love of football and basketball. Bill was fond of travelling to Las Vegas where he enjoyed the card games and the Vegas shows. Bill is survived by his brothers Bob, Dave and Larry (Debbie) and his sisters Gail and Brenda (Michael); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Stan and Cherrie Anderson and his brother Jim (Lynda) Anderson. Bill will be remembered for his generosity of spirit and his dry sense of humor. At Bill’s request, a private family service will be held. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to The Salvation Army Agapé Hospice, 1302 - 8th Avenue NW Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.
