Her passions were her family, fishing and camping, her weekend card games, Bingo nights with her beloved Thorncliffe Bingo Buddies, her 4:00 PM soap opera “The Young and Restless”, her morning ritual with her longtime friend and neighbor Gelina and her little furry treasure, her dog, Tessie.
Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Corby (Sonya), Glenda (Guy), Dale (Donna), Blaine (Lee), 7 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren and her sister Madlene Deak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was the 10th of 14 siblings. She was predeceased by her adoring husband Harvie in 1999.
This strong, warm, caring, compassionate and generous woman we are all so blessed to have in our lives will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched.

A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
