Andre "Andy" Lionel Carriere

Dearly loved husband of Sheila Black and cherished dad to Nick and Jessica (David Mitobe), also remembered by Vanessa. Andy is survived by his siblings Rachel Aumond (Anicet), Richard Carriere (Geri), Eleonore Kadwell (the late George), Connie Alexander (Jim), Suzanne Pongray (Bruce), Lucille Wells (the late Bill), Vincent Carriere (Janet) and Carmen Preston (Todd). Much loved brother in law to Cathy Russell (Howard), Teresa Cherri (Nick), Jim Black (Heather), Anne Wilson (Dan), Bill Black (Sonya) and Dian Carriere. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Germaine Carriere and his brothers Louis, Claude and Robert.

A man of great kindness and strength, his absence leaves a void in our hearts. Andy cherished every moment spent with his family and close friends. His passion for fishing, cars, puzzles, gardening and carpentry, and his unwavering spirit, will be forever remembered. He will be greatly missed by his four-legged family members Auggie, Lola and Daisy.

To celebrate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, visitation is being held at the Barthel Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A liturgy service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 pm. Cremation has taken place, as expressions of sympathy donations to Lisaard House or Nutrition for Learning are greatly appreciated.
