Barbara Maxine Nemeth

Barbara was the beloved partner of Kenneth Rogers for 48 wonderful years. She was a devoted mother to Darlene Nemeth, Angela Gee, Victor Nemeth, mother-in-law to Gary White and Robert Gee and step-mother to Jim Davidson. She was a cherished grandmother to Elizabeth, Nicole, Christina, Alissa, Katelyn and a proud great-grandmother to Sidney, Faith, Ethan, Finnley, Audrey, Lexi, and Jaxon. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Leslie, her parents Hillard and Viola Fraser, and all eight of her siblings.

Family was at the centre of Barbara’s life. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to caring for her children, and once they were grown, she lovingly extended that same devotion to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was found in nurturing the generations that followed her, and her kindness, warmth, and selflessness will be forever remembered.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, on Friday, November 28th at 11 a.m., with one hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Barbara will be laid to rest at Parklawn Cemetery, reunited with her husband, Leslie.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to Diabetes Canada.
