Chris "Goodie" Goodhew

Beloved son of Wendy (nee Bouskill) and the Late Chris Goodhew (d. 2013). Brother of Joe Goodhew. Chris will also be lovingly remembered by his grandmother Loretta, step-grandmother Marianne, uncles Bill, Ted (Kelly) Tim (Kathy), Jamie, and Jason, aunts Marlene (Murray), Marion, and best friends Brewy and Derick, Tash and many cousins.

He is also predeceased by his grandparents Lawrence Bouskill, Roger and Marie O’Connor, great-grandparents Cliff and Dot Culbert, uncle Kevin (Julie), Aunt Debbie and Aunt Sherry

Chris loved the nature, fishing, and animals (owning and breeding his own racehorses and greyhounds. He graduated with honours from University of Melbourne as a Red Seal Carpenter, Standard Bred horse driver and trainer, spent 16 years in Australia where he built his own horse farm from the bottom up, worked in diamond mines as a crane operator/rigger, studied thermography and chiropractic for animals, raced horses (he loved the thrilled of being in the bike) , travelled the world and was always up for an adventure and loved a challenge. His favourite place in the world was Ardbeg!

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place when it is safe to gather and remember him safely.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to standardbred racehorse Adoption Ontario (OSAS.ca)or Bladder Cancer Canada in his memory would be appreciated by his family.
