Dianne was a strong and independent woman who was always there for her family. She was creative and loved to work with her hands. From small projects like knitting, crocheting, and sewing, to big projects like renovating her house, painting, and using big power tools, Dianne could do it all. Her stubborn and stern work ethic was an inspiration. To unwind, Dianne enjoyed watching the shopping channel and Murdoch Mysteries, and visiting garage sales. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Kathy, Cindy, Kim, and Jodi, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her brothers Lee, Robert, and Ronald Walker. Dianne was predeceased by her parents Verne and Doris Walker, and her 3 husbands Earl, Jack, and Roy. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care Home in Shelburne for their unprecedented care, consideration, and respect for the residents.
