Gerald (Gerry) Hart

Gerry is on his long and final haul to heaven. He passed away unexpectedly at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 6, 2015. He was born 55 years ago on Bell Island Newfoundland to Catherine (Kit) and the late Gerald Hart (1997) and is the loving father of Jared. Cherished brother of Dolly (Danny) Rosiak, Brenda (Perry) Carter and an adored uncle to Martin Rosiak; he will be missed by many aunts, uncles, relatives and close friends. Gerry was a long haul truck driver for many years. A visitation will be held on Thursday July 9, 2015 from 5:00-9:00p.m. at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road in Preston N3H 3J8. Evening prayers will take place during the visitation at 6:30p.m. and a Funeral Mass will be held at St Clements Roman Catholic Church 745 Duke Street, Preston N3H 3T7 on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Burial to follow at Parklawn Cemetery on Fountain Street immediately following Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association in Gerry’s name would be appreciated by the family.
