Mr. Gerald Cornelius Scheuerman

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Lisaard House in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marguerite (nee Gignac) for 53 years. Dear father of Judy Murphy (Dennis), Gwen Leveille (Daniel), and Debbie Elzinga (Peter). Loving grandfather of Kristin, Trevor and Shannon Matkovich; Denise Leveille; Justin and Cayla Elzinga. Remembered by Dennis, Cathy and Autumn. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Rose and brother Nelson Scheuerman. Gerry was a longtime Knights of Columbus member and Legion member. Gerry's family will receive friends at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge (519)653-3251) on Thursday, September 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In Gerry's memory, donations to the Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family. Gerry's family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Leung, Dr. Kim and the staff at Cambridge Medical Day Care and the Lisaard House.
