After a brief illness, Gladys M. (Collard) Carroll of Cambridge passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital with her family at her side. Dear mother of Dan (Carol), Allen (Denise), Cathryn Sweet, Nancy (Michael) Kindree and daughter-in-law Judy Carroll. Grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of her sister Alice Kunitski and her dear friend and Matron of Honour, Helen Dodson. Eternally reunited with her husband of 71 loving years, Wilfred Carroll, her son Tom, son-in-law Richard Sweet, her parents Charles and Aletha Collard, brothers Bill and Chuck Collard and her sister, Yvonne Brenner. Friends and family will be received at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge from 7-9 pm Saturday, April 11 and from 12-1:30 pm Sunday, April 12, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, across the street at St. John's Anglican Church, with a reception to follow in the church basement. A private family interment will be held Monday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Memory Gardens, Breslau. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations in Gladys' name to the charity of your choice.
