Howard Brodhaecker

After a long, courageous battle with cancer, on February 25, 2013 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 74th year. Loving husband and best friend of Barbara and beloved father of Les (Barbara), Doug (Maureen), and Susie Dwyer (Greg). Proud grandfather to Steve, Tom, Michael, Linzee, Samantha, Austin, Kailey, and Makenna.

Predeceased by parents Telford and Susie Brodhaecker, brother Ward (Vivian), and daughter-in-law Joan. Howard was a devoted father and grandfather whose life was dedicated to being there for his family.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Third Floor Nursing Staff and the Oncology Department at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Friends will be received at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, 519-653-3251 on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Doon Presbyterian Church, 35 Roos Street, Kitchener at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
