Irene has made the inevitable step into eternity. A lifetime filled with goodness, love, and charity has enriched the lives and souls of others forever. Mom always wanted to make the world a better place for everyone and she did.
Irene was a dreamer whose big heart and unlimited resolve combined with Steve’s honest down to earth attitudes and love of life to form the foundation of a lifelong marriage filled with love, happiness, and three children.
Irene and Steve, both born on family farms, became city dwellers who dealt with the ups and downs of life and a rapidly changing world whole heartedly and steadfastly.
Irene and Steve had a good life working in factories, making friends, making a difference, having parties, and great holidays all their lives.
The summer camping at the Pinery, Camp Ipperwash, and Carson’s Camp were a celebration of happiness for Irene and Steve, friends, and family for over 50 years.
Trips to Hawaii, California, and Florida were incredible adventures for mom and dad, their friends, and family where they experienced the Big World.
Parties for St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas Day, News Years day, the Roaring 20’s, family picnics, Robbie Burns Day, or any day were all an excuse to be happy and celebrate life that were enjoyed by friends and family over a lifetime.
Irene and Steve have passed on but their souls live on in the souls of everyone they have touched with love and kindness.
Goodbye mother and father I will love you forever.
