He leaves behind his son Cole (Bethany) and his cherished granddaughter Leah. He was predeceased by his eldest son Kolin (2021) and his childhood sweetheart and mother of his children Tracey Neumann (Cutting) (2020). He was the beloved son of Karl and Pat Neumann and older brother to Chris Neumann (Aleda) and Peter Neumann (Ivana). He will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be fondly remembered by his extended Puslinch family, a large group of childhood friends he considered his family too.
As a teen Jimmy enjoyed driving his beloved truck and hanging with his friends. He was known for having a crazy sense of humour and an undeniable infectious laugh. Those who loved him will have cherished memories of parties and family gatherings on Nelson Street. The pool was a great meeting spot for Kolin, Cole and all their cousins. There were many happy memories from childhood and on in that house for him.
Jimmy will be remembered as a guy who had an amazing gift of drawing and this trait was passed on to his son Kolin. He enjoyed playing guitar and this love of playing was passed on to his son Cole. He was a big lover of the band Led Zeppelin and would spend time just listening to their music. Friends and family will remember Jimmy’s infatuation with the 1970’s (Looney Tunes/Archie Bunker/The Three Stooges, etc.). Getting on the river to go kayaking during the spring to fall was a favourite pastime for him. He spent much of his time visiting his friends, many of which he’d had since public school in Aberfoyle.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will also be held on Saturday, October 18th at 7pm at Ernie’s Cookhouse in Hespeler. All friends and family are welcome to attend to celebrate and remember Jimmy.
In his memory, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
