Jane Barnes Mason

Jane Mason passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, August 09, 2016 at the age of 76. Jane will be remembered as a strong woman who had a zest for life, in her own way. She loved to travel and often reminisced about her Rocky Mountaineer, train ride across Canada. Jane loved dogs, and most of hers were rescue dogs. In Jane’s lifetime, her immediate family reached 5 living generations of girls, not once, but twice, the second was four girls with one male. Jane was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Allan and stepfather Merville Allan. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Robert John William Murray of Fort St. John, BC, daughter Rhonda Lee Murray-Collins (William) of Hensall, ON, son David Regan Murray (Deanna) of Cloverdale, BC, and daughter Deborah Anne Murray of Kamloops, BC. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Cabral House and Stirling Heights for the care and compassion they showed to Jane. Because of her love for animals, donations may be made to the Cambridge & District Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
